Four Foods

This week's Four Foods is about what your nose knows. Visit Fun, Crafts and Recipes if you'd like to participate.

#1. Fruits and veggies. Do you prefer them peeled or not?
I can handle my fruits and veggies with the peel still on them.. I'm tough like that.

#2. What’s your favorite fresh fruit or vegetable smell?
I love the smell of strawberries and I have a strawberry candle to prove it.

#3. What’s the worst food smell you’ve ever smelled?
Broccoli can get pretty stinky and I won't say what it smells like because that's just awkward.

#4. Share the recipe for the dish that you love to smell cooking in your oven.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 C. butter
2 t. soda
2 C. sugar
2 t. baking powder
2 C. brown sugar, packed

24 oz. Chocolate chips
4 C. flour

5 C. oatmeal, blended to fine powder (optional)

Mix all ingredients and roll into balls. Place 2" apart. Bake 10 minutes @ 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies.

Ok, I'd love to know what you think broccoli smells like.

Choc chip cookies? What a coincidence, we saw Famous Amos and the kids wanted some, but we forgot all about it on the way back, haha.

It's me again.
I just realized I have this very same recipe, only mine is called the "Neiman Marcus $250 Cookie Recipe." Do you know the story behind this recipe?
