Four Foods

I think I missed the last couple of weeks, due to no reason that I can think of at the moment. But I'm back on track this week and ready to play. Visit Fun, Crafts and Recipes if you want to play this meme and share facts about yourself.

#1. Stuffing. Boxed or from scratch?
From scratch... all the way!!

#2. If you were served the perfect Thanksgiving dinner what would it be?
What's perfect for some might not be perfect for others. My idea of perfect is Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy, rolls and lots of pies. And this meal would need to be fixed by someone other than myself, like my mom. So there!(This is for you, Tanya)

#3. What’s your favorite Thanksgiving leftover?
Dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy!!

#4. Share a recipe using turkey.
I don't make anything using turkey so I'll have to pass on this one.

I'm from scratch also!!
Add black olives and pickles to your 2nd answer and we again are identical.
My fav leftover is the turkey and MY stuffing. Not everyone can make the BEST stuffing ya know. Just me (lol).

Your word verification thingie is "chest" - it never makes real words. That's funny...

I'm so ready for Thanksgiving! I've never cooked a turkey or made stuffing! Pathetic, I know.

The years that it has been at my house I buy the whole darn meal at Super Suppers! It's really, really good! LOL

I love stuffing, turkey, gravy and cranberry sauce all together! Mmmm!!

We use ground turkey now in place of hamburger for just about everything. It really is good! My husband prefers it because it doesn't have gristle in it. I still use hamburger for meatloaf though. You should try it in your spaghetti sometime. I bet you'll like it. :)

Our preferences on Thanksgiving are pretty similar. I can't wait!

This week's four foods has me soooo ready for Thanksgiving!!

I second Dawn on the ground turkey - we make a killer pasta sauce with ground turkey and its tasty AND healthier than beef. :)

I am lucky - both my mother-in-law and my mom make Thanksgiving dinner. All I have to make are desserts. However, we eat at both houses, at noon and then at six, so I'm pretty stuffed by the end of the day.

My family gets crazy some years and has lasagna for Thanksgiving. I know I'm having a family dinner for Christmas and we're making deep dish pizzas!
