I received my Social Security statement in the mail this past week because it's that time of year when I get this reminder that my birthday is coming up in a couple of months.
Anyhoo...did anyone else receive their statement recently and compare it to last year's statement, only to find out that if you retire at the age of 67 you are now eligible for a lower amount of income than what the previous year statement indicated? Even though you have now contributed a whole year more of social security taxes? RaggleFaggleFrickinFruck?!!

Ha! That's funny - NOT!! I don't save mine. Firstly cause they're just that ever so gentle reminder that I'm gettin older and who the hell wants that? And secondly, why would I want to depress myself by seeing that I.MAY.NEVER.BE.ABLE.TO.RETIRE?!?!?!
Social Security will slowly be depleted until there is no more. It's sad.
But, your post was funny! LOL!
Oh no! I can't even look at that. When I look at my retiremet statement I get sick. What is going on in the world?
Well, I hate to say this, but overall I haven't contributed enough to make a difference in my retirement anyway. I hadn't noticed this though and will point it out to my friends.
