Don't ever say that we don't do fun and exciting things. This past weekend, I took my kids to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum, only we weren't there to visit the museum. We were all pumped up about going to the PLANETARIUM!! I know, exciting huh?
Although the show had some very interesting facts and I left more educated about our skies than before I arrived, it was a little bit boring in parts and the kids said the same.
It can't be said that I don't do important things for my kids' education. I just hope that my kids' friends don't get jealous.

If you are truly worried about the kids friends getting jealous, plan a field trip of your own (lol).
Not THAT worried are ya??!! HAhaha.
You're a good mom. I think the most educational place I went voluntarily was the zoo. Only because I like it. They may have hated it. But as long as I was happy....
I think my kids would really like that. We haven't been there before. I am just not sure my 5 year old could totally appreciate it yet. Maybe when my 2 year old is a little older whe will check it out.
That's it, I'm not going! LOL You can't make me go! If it was the least bit boring to ANYONE then it would be completely boring to me!
But, I think it is awesome that you took your kids!
I actually think this sounds great! I'm kind of a geek at heart, though! :o)
Hey, I love the planetarium! Ours has been being remodeled for about a year now, and we're taking a school field trip to it when it reopens next year.
Good to know... I've been wondering if that place would be fun or not!
We had a day of and went to a movie - Madagascar 2. I'm going to call it educational because they learned so, so much about Africa. Yes, a geography lesson. That's what that was!
