Tanya and I were talking about not knowing the words to some songs and how this didn't stop us or anyone else from singing it the wrong way. One song mentioned was "Blinded by the light". I found the lyrics and what I discovered was the only line in this song that I knew was "blinded by the light". Alan shouldn't feel so bad about his slight word glitch that Tanya caught him singing the other day. Here are just a few of the lines from that song below:
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Madman drummers bummers, Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin' kinda older, I tripped the merry-go-round
With this very unpleasin', sneezin' and wheezin, the calliope crashed to the ground
The calliope crashed to the ground
But she was...Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, runner in the night
What is this person talking about? Definitely liked words that rhymed.

How retarded. They were on drugs or something - or like you said, just wanted to rhyme random words. Gaw!
