The weekend approaches and it's going to have it's busy moments. Hayden & Caitlin both have games on Saturday and Sunday so that's 4 games for the weekend not to mention that Hayden has an indoor game tonight. On Sunday, Dylan is having a Halo party... again, but this time the group is larger. The last I heard there are fifteen 17 year old boys coming over to play. My living room will never be the same. I'll be sure and take pictures because I think it's only right to document this moment. I'm ordering sandwiches and will pick up drinks and sweets so that they enjoy themselves fully. I'm cleaning the bathroom but that's it... not going to any trouble to bring this together (Well, I'll give the kitchen a quick tidying up). Luckily, the rest of our family will be gone for about 3 of the 6 hours that the party is scheduled for. So won't be too bad. I'm eager to meet some of the boys and see how entertaining they will be. I really like most of Dylan's friends, just as long as they aren't too quiet and can hold a conversation. Thomas Patrick has no trouble with that whatsoever. I hope Dylan has a good time. He needs some fun in his life and he's not very aggressive about finding it.
Spring Break starts after school lets out today... yahoo! I like when the kids are out of school and we can just meander around at our own paces. It probably won't feel like we are on spring break until after this weekend but that's ok. It's going to be just what we need after the Sunday Halo Shindig.

Wow. Fifteen. Good thing you are getting sandwiches. I'm sure they'll still find their way to the fridge and pantry for more food though. That's cool that Dylan gets to do this - other parents host these too, I'm assuming? I know...isn't it nice when spring break is around the corner? Ours is ending...
Bailey had three friends spend the night last night. I'm fuming right now over the mess and it's probably not that bad. Why does parenting take so many years?
